The big day finally arrived, bright and early. We had to be up at the temple at 6:30 (a.m.), barely making it. Bleary eyed, we left Adam and a few other kids with Rebecca and Abby - huge helps for us parents.
The ceremony was beautiful, done by the only living son of Pres. Joseph Fielding Smith. It was great. We all exited the temple and waited around for the couple to be the first to come out that morning. Most of these pictures will overlap from what I posted on facebook, but there are a few extras that I decided to post to the blog.

Luckily, we were the first ones out and the first ones done with pictures. The temperature was still cool enough so we weren't cooking in the early rays of the sun. The rest of the day was spent up in Kaysville for a luncheon and then the reception. They took place in a beautiful backyard of one of Nate's aunts. We met up with old friends from our days in Montana and newer friends from my college days. Plus I got to catch up with my good friend Sierra and her cute son Henry from Rapid. That night, we topped it off with some ice cream cake and watching Emily and Nate open some gifts before they ran off to Park City. Long day, with an Adam meltdown, but pretty worth it.
