The big weekend part 1

Emily and Nate's wedding was the final family event for the summer. We were fortunate that our Great-grandpa Gordon joined us for the whole weekend as he stayed with us. Adam warmed up to him so fast! Already cuddling with him and playing with him as soon as we picked him up from the airport. Grandpa also pushed Adam and Rebecca on her long board.

Adam clearly wanted to try it on his own - hopefully he won't be just like his aunt and get into too many accidents. She was contemplating that very thought.

Just before the wedding, we all went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. Katie is preparing to go on a mission just like her older sisters. Part of that preparation includes extra learning from within the sacred walls of the temple. It was a beautiful experience for all of us as she made important steps in her life. We're so excited for our future missionary!

Afterward, we met with part of Nate's family for dinner and enjoyed sharing stories about Nate and Emily, as well as imparting advice to the almost-newlyweds.

Kristina and Kyann Miller joined us as well.

Nate's sister Tina, his mother and other sister Maria. 

It was a nice ending to a fun day.
